Mike Griffin has spent decades advocating for safer streets, vibrant shopping districts, expanded green spaces, and affordable housing in Jersey City. A staunch defender of residents’ rights, he partnered with local organizations to pass the “Do Not Knock” ordinance, protecting homeowners from predatory solicitation. His work has consistently prioritized.
As a former elected committee person under Mayor Glenn Cunningham, Mike developed leadership skills that continue to drive his community-focused initiatives. He has led economic development efforts like the Jackson Hill Main Street Special Improvement District, bringing resources and opportunities to underserved neighborhoods.
Currently, Mike remains active, securing a 55% affordable housing project and mentoring new leaders. With a proven track record in advocacy and public service, Mike Griffin is ready to bring his vision of a stronger, more inclusive future to the City At-Large
